Lili Wilkinson is the award-winning author of 19 books, has a PhD in Creative Writing and a passion for YA and the young people who read it. Deep As the Fen, her brand spanking new release this year, follows Lili’s entrancing, highly acclaimed book, A Hunger of Thorns. Lili also penned the brilliant and compelling psychological thrillers The Erasure Initiative and After the Lights Go Out. 

Lili loves writing in other worlds and shares her award-winning brilliance in writing processes with our senior grades. Her accolades include The Victoria Premier’s Literary Award and The Aurealis Award for the Best YA Novel, as well as being shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year and Queensland Literary Awards.
