Aleesah Darlison is an award-winning author of over 65 books for children. She is well known for her books that empower children and champion the cause of animals and the environment. Aleesah has been awarded and shortlisted for countless awards, including Book Excellence Awards, various Environmental Awards, and the Speech Pathology Book of the Year. Her titles include Super Sloth, Space Kid, Endangered Animal Tales, League of Llamas, and her latest novel, Grace the Amazing.

WRITER’S WORKSHOP: Crank it Up
Students will learn how to source and develop ideas for fresh, original stories. Delve into memories, dreams, imagination, and experiences to create plans for fictional stories. Explore Aleesah’s very own concept of ‘Story Lottery’ where students participate in a lucky dip of characters, settings and problems to prepare to write a story.
